APPEARANCE: slender frame, sharp features. bronze skin comparable to her mother's zemeni complexion. curls inherited from her mother, but bright red hair tone inherited from her father. her father is suspected to have kaelish ancestry, but none has been confirmed. her eyes are a golden brown with flecks of hazel. her body is littered with scars, and her left eye has been gouged.

MAIN VERSE
this verse follows most of the canon timeline seen throughout the series. it follows genya's transition from a tailor, to a victim of the darkling, and ends with her as a member of the triumvirate. genya's age however is altered to fit my comfort. i imagine genya to be around 20 at the start of the trilogy, 21 by the end. 23 by the end of the six of crows duology and 24 by the start of king of scars. and finishing the kos duology would make her 25. rule of wolves divergence major spoilers ahead: by default i do not write david to have passed in her main verse. further information about how i work around that can be found HERE.FANTASY VERSE
for the most part, genya's fantasy verse will focus more on before the king's death in this verse. she is a renowned seamstress/tailor, with rumours of being a witch surrounding her. indentured to the royal family, she lives in a life of luxury that comes with it's inevitable downfall. in an act of revenge, she kills the king whose hands she's fallen victim to and finds herself on the run. the queen takes to the rumours about her being a witch and begins a witch hunt for the girl. more information can be found HERE

MODERN VERSE
genya's modern verse parallels some of the events that happen in canon. she is adopted by a wealthy family when she's young. she's talk of the town for a short period of time, until she grows into a beautiful young girl who catches her adopted father's sights. genya suffers years of abuse at his hands. she works as a seamstress and make up artist to save up money. this allows her to move out at eighteen and enroll in college on a full scholarship. genya is studying to be a plastic surgeon and i will write in both her uni age and her surgeon age. more information can be found HERE
